I am currently working as a free-lance researcher within the field of evidence-based medicine for a number of institutions in the UK and Germany. Furthermore, I am an Editor of the Cochrane Metabolic and Endocrine Disorders Group (University of Düsseldorf, Germany). I also have an interest in more creative ways of linking science and the arts (especially with respect to public health and preventive medicine), with some experience in scientific journalism and documentary filmmaking.
